Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai, the iconic Indian sitcom that aired from 2004 to 2006, continues to hold a special place in the hearts of fans even after years of going off the air. The show, created by JD Majethia and Aatish Kapadia, featured a stellar cast including Ratna Pathak Shah, Satish Shah, Rupali Ganguly, Sumeet Raghavan and Rajesh Kumar. Recently, members of the cast reunited, sparking joy among fans.
Rupali Ganguly, who played the role of Monisha Sarabhai in the series, shared a candid glimpse of the reunion on her Instagram account. In the video, she can be seen sharing light moments with her co-stars Rajesh Kumar (Roshesh Sarabhai) and Satish Shah (Indravadan Sarabhai). Although Ratna Pathak Shah (Maya Sarabhai) was not present, her absence was felt.
Sharing the reunion video, Rupali wrote, "Indravadan ke ghar Roshesh aur Monisha. Almost 20 years of camaraderie, respect, friendship, and unconditional love… The warmth of their welcome and their bear hugs… and meeting them is a joy to cherish… Precious bonds forever… THU THU THU."
Fans of Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai were thrilled to see the trio together again. One fan commented, "How cool!! Missing those days," while another expressed, "SVS is always trendy."
The bond between the cast members of Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai has remained strong even after the show ended. Last year, some of the cast members reunited for dinner, which Rupali also shared on social media. The video captured the warm embrace shared by Rupali, Satish Shah, Rajesh Kumar, and Ratna Pathak Shah.

Director JD Majethia has also hinted at the possibility of bringing back the beloved sitcom for a third season. He said, "It is very much in mind, but for it to be on paper, there needs to be some wow factor. So if you all pray, something should come up, but Sarabhai 3 is very much on the cards."
Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai originally aired from 2004 to 2006 and was relaunched in 2017 as Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai Take 2 (available on Disney+ Hotstar) due to popular demand. The show continues to be remembered fondly by fans for its witty humour and memorable characters.
