Saath Nibhana Saathiya Actor Mohammed Nazim Recalls Abusing Devoleena Bhattacharjee; Says ‘We Didn’t Speak For 6-8 Months’

Mohammed Nazim, who rose to fame with the popular hit show Saath Nibhana Saathiya, shared some shocking revelations about his camaraderie with his costar Devoleena Bhattacharjee. The actor said that he was not behaving well with the actress and even abused her once while rehearsing a scene. After which the duo didn’t speak for 6-8 months. He stated that he was unable to accept her and get along with Devoleena after Giaa Manek was replaced on the serial. 

In an interview with Telly Masala, Nazim said “We were rehearsing for one of our scenes once and one thing led to the other, I said things to her amid all this and also abused her. After this, we did not speak to each other for almost 6-8 months.” 

He also shared that his difference with Devoleena impacted gaining TRPs for the show. Nazim added, “We would not talk to each other but we had to do our scenes together. So we would always compete in our minds, compete to perform better than the other one and amid all this, our scenes started coming out very well and that in turn worked for the show. Because we were not talking during the scenes, we sat and visualized the scenes better.”
