Salaar 2: Prabhas, the blockbuster sensation of Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire, has spilt the beans on the much-anticipated sequel, 'Salaar: Part 2 - Shouryaanga Parvam'. In a recent interview with India Today, the actor shared insights into the upcoming project, assuring fans that the story is ready, and shooting is set to commence soon. The action-packed Salaar Part 1, which is on the verge of crossing the ₹650 crore mark globally, has been a massive hit, even competing with Shah Rukh Khan's 'Dunki' during the Christmas 2024 release. Prabhas, reflecting on Salaar's success, expressed his gratitude to the audience, stating, "My only goal is to entertain maximum people around the world with my work. That's the primary idea behind the films I choose."

Addressing the excitement around Salaar 2, Prabhas revealed, "The story is already ready, and we are going to start very soon, aiming to deliver the film as soon as possible for the audiences. Beyond Salaar, Prabhas also shared his diverse cinematic plans for 2024. The actor teased a futuristic film as his next venture after Salaar, contrasting the rugged mass appeal of Salaar with a horror genre exploration in his upcoming project. "I want to explore different genres so that the audience is entertained, and I hope that they shower as much love on my future films as they have done on Salaar," he added.

In a recent Pinkvilla interview, director Prashanth Neel provided a glimpse into Salaar: Part 2 - Shouryaanga Parvam, emphasizing the excitement to reveal the film's ending.
