Salaar Re-Release Advance Booking: The re-release of the action-packed thriller Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire, starring Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran, is generating tremendous excitement among fans. Scheduled to hit theaters on March 21, 2025, the movie has been building significant buzz ahead of its re-release. The movie has already crossed the Rs 1 crore mark in advance booking sales for its first day alone, according to a report by Sacnik.

The report further reveals that the advance booking for the re-release of Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire opened on March 13 and the response has been phenomenal. 

In just five days, the movie has sold an impressive 55,000+ tickets on BookMyShow for all days, with the opening day sales reaching a staggering Rs 1+ crore. As the re-release date approaches, Sacnik predicts that Ceasefire is poised to emerge as the biggest re-release opener at the Indian box office. 

As the countdown begins, it will be interesting to see how Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire performs at the box office and whether it will indeed set a new record for the biggest re-release opener in India.

Salaar is a 2023 Indian Telugu-language epic action drama film directed by Prashanth Neel. The film stars Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran and Shruti Haasan and is set in the dystopian city-state of Khansaar. It follows the story of Deva, an exiled prince and Varadha, the current prince, as they navigate a coup d'état and fight for control of Khansaar.

Salaar: Part 1, directed by Prashanth Neel, was initially pitched from his debut film Ugramm (2014). Filming began in January 2021 and wrapped up in late 2023, with locations including Telangana, Italy, and Budapest. Despite production delays, the film was released on December 22, 2023, receiving positive reviews and becoming a commercial success, earning Rs 618-700 crore on a 270 crore budget.
