Salaar Re-Release: The Telugu action thriller Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire, which stars Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead roles, became a blockbuster when it was originally released in theatres in 2023. Directed by Prashanth Neel, known for his KGF series, the movie performed well at the box office despite facing box office clash from the Dunki movie. After its massive success, the makers have jumped on the re-release trend. The movie will once again hit cinemas soon.
The 2023 hit movie Salaar will return to the silver screen on March 21, 2025. A post on twitter has gone viral, which states, βDeva Returning To His DEN - Khansaar. #SalaarCeaseFire Strikes Back To Dominate The BIG Screen! #Salaar RE - RELEASING On March 21st!." However an official confirmation from the makers is yet to be announced.

About Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire
Salaar is set in the dystopian city-state of Khansaar, which a monarchy rules and divides among three tribes. The story revolves around the bond between Deva (Prabhas) and Varadha (Prithviraj Sukumaran). Varadha, a prince, faces threats from his fatherβs ministers and relatives, who try to prevent him from ascending to the throne and becoming the next king. To counter this threat, he seeks Devaβs help to fight his enemies and secure his rule over Khansaar. Eventually, he becomes the ruler of Khansaar.
Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire is the first instalment of a planned duology, with the sequel, Salaar: Part 2 - Shouryaanga Parvam, currently in production. Apart from Prabhas and Prithviraj, the film also features Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Bobby Simha, Eeswari Rao, John Vijay, and Tinnu Anand in key roles. This action thriller is helmed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the Hombale Films banner. The music is composed by Ravi Basrur, while Bhuvan Gowda handles the cinematography. This movie marks the first collaboration between KGF director Prashanth Neel and Baahubali star Prabhas, who came together to create the mega action-packed cinematic spectacle.
