Salman Khan is currently working with AR Murugadoss for their upcoming project Sikandar. The collaboration promises to bring some extraordinary action scenes in the movie. As per recent reports, Khan will be seen playing a dual role in the film. It also suggested that the team has ordered 10,000 pistols and bullets to shoot an action sequence that is set to begin on August 22. The first schedule of shooting of the film which began in June was wrapped up on July 1.
A report by Dainik Bhaskar suggested that Salman Khan will be seen essaying the role of a businessman in Sikandar, who was a Dabang earlier. His dual role features him as the protagonist and another personality from his past. The reports further suggested that the team will be shooting a high-octane action sequence on August 22. They have ordered 10,000 bullets and pistols. As per a report by Mid-Day, the action sequence will be filmed over the 40-day schedule.
In the first schedule, Salman Khan shot an intense fight scene with the villian’s son abroad in a private chartered plane. The antagonist in Sikander is being played by South star Sathyaraj. The movie is scheduled to be released in theatres on Eid 2025. Sikandar features a powerful ensemble of actors including Salman Khan, Suniel Shetty, Rashmika Mandanna, Sathyaraj, Prateik Patil Babbar, Nawab Shah and Chaitannya Choudhry in significant roles. The film is being directed and written by AR Murugadoss. It has been produced by Nadiadwala Grandson.
Announcing the release date of the movie, Salman Khan earlier this year said on Instagram “Iss Eid ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ aur ‘Maidaan’ ko dekho aur agli Eid Sikandar se aa kar milo….
