Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu marked the first-ever collaboration with Citadel: Honey Bunny. The spy action web series was a success after it was released on Prime Video and received several favourable reviews. The creators threw a lavish success party on November 28 to commemorate the achievement.
After the festivities, Varun Dhawan referred to Samantha Ruth Prabhu as 'the best co-star evaaaaaaa' after she dropped some inside photos from the celebration. The caption on the post read, "Beautiful evening spent with the loveliest people, my heart overflowing with gratitude."
The first slide in the photo dump featured Varun and Samantha with filmmakers Raj & DK and writer Sita R. Menon. The entire team of the film posed in the following picture. Samantha and Varun Dhawan also struck a happy pose for their fans. Many were delighted to spot Saqib Saleem and Gulshan Devaiah in the pictures.

Netizens dropped hearts and heart-eye emojis for the cast of Citadel: Honey Bunny. One of the users wrote, "Wow congratulations Sam !! You look stunning yesterday and my heart is full to see you being happiest like this. Much deserved and long overdue party for your hardworking soul. Work harder, party even harder." Another user said, "Finally living your life after so going through soo much Sam!! May you always be happy and more power to you my lady !!! Love you lots." The third user commented, "Congratulations Sam on your success eagerly waiting for your next movie/web series you are best in the role hope you will do more different content in your upcoming things my love is infinity for you."
Director Raj & DK, along with web series cast members Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu in attendance at the success bash. Several others who joined the celebration were Varun's wife, Natasa Dalal, Mrunal Thakur, Saqib Saleem, Abhishek Banerjee and Avneet Kaur.
