Actress Sanjeeda Shaikh has been basking in the success of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s web series Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar. The actress recently recalled an emotional past incident that is still alive in her memories. Sanjeeda shared that her last conversation with actor Sidharth Shukla was three months before his demise. She stated that the late actor was motivated to do something better in his career. For the unversed, Sidharth and Sanjeeda worked together in the 2009 television serial Jaane Pehchaane Se… Ye Ajnabbi.
In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Sanjeeda said “I had this conversation with him just three months before he passed away when Covid was going on. He had told me, ‘Sanju, main kuch karuga (Sanju, I will do something).’ Bigg Boss gave him so much love and acceptance from the audience that he was a confident person. He sounded like a refined version of himself compared to the time we had worked together years ago. It felt so beautiful, he deserved the love and appreciation that he received at that time. Kudos to aunty (Sidharth’s mom) for taking this also in a positive way.”
Sidharth Shukla passed away due to a heart attack at his Mumbai residence on 2nd September 2021. He worked in popular TV shows including Balika Vadhu, Dil Se Dil Tak, Sasural Simar Ka, and Love U Zindagi to name a few.
