Sankranthiki Vasthunam OTT Release Delayed: The Telugu-language action comedy film Sankranthiki Vasthunam, starring Venkatesh Daggubati in the lead role, is receiving rave reviews in cinemas. Despite facing box office competition from Game Changer and Daaku Maharaaj, the movie has made history by shattering records. Directed by Anil Ravipudi, the film is produced by Sri Venkateswara Creations. The movie features a stellar cast, with Meenakshi Chaudhary and Aishwarya Rajesh in key roles. Amid its successful theatrical run, there is growing buzz about the film's OTT release. Now, it seems movie buffs will have to wait a little longer, as the makers plan to delay its OTT debut.

Sankranthiki Vasthunam has been a hit since its first day of release. The Telugu movie has scored a world box office collection around Rs 300 crore, creating a milestone in just three weeks, despite tough competition at the ticket window. The film was expected to arrive on an OTT platform on February 11, but according to the latest reports, it is now expected to release on February 25. Zee5 has reportedly acquired the digital rights for the Venkatesh Daggubati-starrer movie.

About Sankranthiki Vasthunam

In the movie, Venkatesh Daggubati plays the role of a suspended police officer who steps in to solve a kidnapping case with the help of his family. During his mission, he traces Indian CEO of tech company Aakella (Avasarala Srinivas), who has been kidnapped by the Bijju Pandey gang during his tour of India. Venkatesh’s character, YD Raju, juggles between his wife Bhagyalakshmi (Aishwarya Rajesh) and his ex-girlfriend Meenakshi (Meenakshi Chaudhary). As the narrative progresses, the unfolding chaos and drama while solving the kidnapping case keep viewers on the edge of their seats. The trio investigating the case has successfully grabbed the audience's attention in theaters. The film was released on January 14, and Sankranthiki Vasthunam has emerged as the highest-grossing Telugu film.
