Sankranthiki Vasthunam OTT Release Postponed: Sankranthiki Vasthunam, starring Venkatesh Daggubati, has been declared a box office hit. The Telugu action comedy, which hit the big screens on January 14th also stars Meenakshi Chaudhary and Aishwarya Rajesh in significant roles. The movie offered a perfect blend of humuor and action to movie enthusiasts.

With worldwide receipts of nearly Rs 200 crore, the movie has made over Rs 150 crore in India. An important update has been made about the Sankranthiki Vasthunam's OTT release, which was originally planned for February 2025, in light of its enormous success.

Producer Dil Raju is making every effort to delay the Telugu movie's digital release in light of Sankranthiki Vasthunam's OTT release reports.

Sankranthiki Vasthunam OTT Release POSTPONED?

Sankranthiki Vasthunam was originally scheduled to make its OTT debut in the second week of February 2025, as per OTTplay reports. It further claimed that Zee5 paid Rs 30 crore to acquire the movie's digital rights.

Even so, the producers are negotiating with the streaming service to postpone the movie's over-the-top (OTT) debut. The obvious justification for this adjustment is that the Telugu movie is still doing well at the box office and that an early OTT release could jeopardize its ongoing box office success.

For the unversed, some Telugu movies have recently been available for streaming on over-the-top services less than four weeks following their theatrical debut. Bad word-of-mouth, poor box office receipts, and unfavourable reviews have usually led to these movie's prompt OTT releases.
