Sankranthiki Vasthunam has achieved unprecedented success since its release on January 14, breaking box office records and garnering massive attention on digital platforms. Starring Venkatesh Daggubati, Meenakshi Chaudhary, and Aishwarya Rajesh, the film has received widespread praise. Director Anil Ravipudi expressed his gratitude on social media as the movie completed 50 days in theaters. He called it a Pongal blockbuster and shared an appreciation post for the team to celebrate this milestone.

Sankranthiki Vasthunam director took to his X handle and celebrated the film’s success with his fans and followers. He wrote, "A heartfelt thank you to all the audiences for showering immense love on #SankranthikiVasthunam and making it a BLOCKBUSTER PONGALUU for everyone!"

Marking 50 days in 92 centers in theaters, he praised the efforts of exhibitors and distributors for their dedication in taking the film to a wider audience. "This milestone wouldn’t have been possible without the unwavering dedication of our exhibitors and distributors, who stood by the film and ensured it reached every corner," Anil Ravipudi stated.

Heaping praise on his cast and their performances, the director added, "I truly cherish this unforgettable journey with my hero, Victory @VenkyMama garu, my producers #DilRajugaru & #Shirish garu, the talented actresses @Aishu_dil, @Meenakshiioffl, sensational Musician #BheemsCeciroleo, and the entire brilliant cast and crew who played a pivotal role in this historic success."

After its impressive theatrical run, Sankranthiki Vasthunam made its OTT debut on ZEE5 on March 1. Upon its six hours of release, the film achieved the highest opening on the platform, as revealed by the makers. It also surpassed all previous records. The tale follows Yadagiri Damodhar Raju, an ex-police officer, who embarks on a mission to rescue a key figure, Satya Akella. The intense rescue becomes a hilarious juggling act between his wife and ex-girlfriend. This storyline captivated audiences, leading more people to visit theaters and stream the film on the OTT platform. Directed and written by Anil Ravipudi and produced by Dil Raju under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations, Sankranthiki Vasthunam has earned over Rs 303 crore globally.
