Television actress Sara Khan and Shantanu Raje have ended their relationship after being together for three years. Sara took to her official Instagram account on December 13 to release a statement regarding their separation. The pair reportedly made their relationship public after starring in a music video.
On Wednesday, Sara Khan took to her Instagram stories and wrote, "In light of mutual understanding, my partner and I have chosen to part ways and progress individually in our respective lives. We hold great admiration for each other and kindly request that our privacy be revered. Thank you for your understanding."

It was reported that Sara Khan and Shantanu Raje had plans to get married this year, but they have now mutually decided to go their separate ways.

Earlier, in a conversation with ETimes, Sara talked about her relationship with Shantanu Raje. She told the portal, "Yes, I took some time to understand but when you have the right partner who makes you realise that not everyone is bad then it becomes easy for you to decide. And with Shantanu, I really did not have to think much because he has always proved the trust factor in our relationship and has always motivated me in life."

She added, "He has made me feel so secure in life that I never get negative thoughts. Yes, it does become difficult to trust someone again as with some people because they have been cheated or wronged in life, the situation becomes worse. But I feel it is wrong to make yourself suffer just because you have been cheated or wronged once. You should give yourself and life another chance as not everyone's the same. Every individual is different and I’ve got the best one."
