Sarfira Box Office Collection Day 4: Akshay Kumar's latest film, featuring Radhika Madan, Suriya and Paresh Rawal, is struggling to attract audiences to theaters. This movie, a remake of the acclaimed Tamil film 'Soorarai Pottru,' revolves around the story of a common man with a dream of starting his own airline. Despite its promising premise, 'Sarfira' has received a mixed response from viewers and had minimal pre-release hype, impacting its box office performance.

Sarfira Box Office Report

The film had a slow start at the box office, earning an estimated Rs 12.00 crore India net over its first three days. On its fourth day, the film earned around Rs 1.40 crore India net, bringing the total to Rs 13.40 crore, according to Sacnilk. On Monday, July 15, 2024, "Sarfira" recorded an overall Hindi occupancy of 11.63%. The occupancy breakdown for the day was as follows: morning shows at 6.88%, afternoon shows at 11.26%, evening shows at 12.20%, and night shows at 16.17%.

In Mumbai, the occupancy was 13.50%, while the National Capital Region (NCR) had 11.25%, Pune had 14.00%, and Bengaluru saw 14.50% occupancy. Despite the low turnout, the film continues its run in theaters.

Akshay Kumar takes on the role of Captain Gopinath / Veerendra Veer Mhatre, a former pilot turned businessman with a visionary dream. Paresh Rawal plays the character of Paresh Goswami, while Radhika Madan portrays Rani, Veer's supportive wife. Seema Biswas adds emotional depth as Veer's mother, and R. Sarathkumar plays Nedumaran, Veer's commanding officer in the Air Force, bringing authority and mentorship to the narrative.

Sarfira Budget

Produced on a total budget of Rs 100 crores, which includes the costs for prints and advertising, Sarfira is being released on approximately 2,500 screens across India.

About Sarfira

The film follows Vir Jagannath Mhatre (Akshay Kumar), a middle-class man from a small village in Maharashtra, who dreams of creating a budget airline to dismantle economic and social barriers. In contrast to his father, a teacher whom he criticizes for his timid and non-violent approach, Vir believes that proactive and assertive actions are essential to bring about change and overcome oppression.
