On its opening day, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram earned around ₹8.75 crore net across India in all languages, according to early estimates. The film had a strong Telugu occupancy rate of 53.54% on Thursday, August 29, 2024. The occupancy was notably higher during the night shows, reaching 69.30%, while morning and afternoon shows saw rates of 45.77% and 44.74%, respectively. Directed by Vivek Athreya and produced by DVV Entertainment, the film has made a significant impact with its impressive debut at the box office.

About Saripodhaa Sanivaaram

According to the plot, Surya (Nani), the cherished elder child of his parents (Abhirami and P. Sai Kumar), struggles with controlling his anger. His ailing mother teaches him to manage his rage by directing it only on Saturdays. Surya notes grievances throughout the week and unleashes his anger on those who wronged him each Saturday. Policewoman Charulatha, played by Priyanka Mohan, connects Surya with Circle Inspector Dayanand -- S. J. Suryah. While Surya hides his anger, Dayanand is a brutal enforcer who acts out violently for minor reasons. Their paths clash after an incident in Sokulapalem, where Dayanand indiscriminately assaults people, setting the stage for a confrontation between Surya and Daya.

Cast

Nani plays the role of Surya, while S. J. Suryah portrays Inspector Daya. Priyanka Mohan stars as PC Charulatha 'Charu,' and Abhirami plays Chayadevi, Surya's mother. Aditi Balan takes on the role of Bhadra, Surya's elder sister, and P. Sai Kumar appears as Sankaram, Surya's father.
