The main character of Sarvam Maya is Prabhendu, an atheist who was born into a conventional Hindu priestly household. His father and brother are successful and well-known priests who even travel overseas for religious events, but he struggles to make a steady living despite his musical aspirations. Prabhendu returns to his village in Palakkad due to circumstances, where he starts helping his cousin Roopesh, a local priest, mainly for financial rather than religious reasons.
When Prabhendu comes across a ghost that only he can see, his life takes an unexpected turn. The spirit, who has no recollection of her history, identifies herself as Delulu and has a very contemporary, Gen-Z demeanour. A strange kinship develops between the two as chaos and uncertainty ensue, leading Prabhendu to discover Delulu's true identity while overcoming his own personal challenges.
