Zebra actor Satyadev Kancharana who is gearing up for the OTT release of his latest Telugu movie, recently made a sharp remark on Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2. He claimed that because of Pushpa 2, the movie got only two weeks of theatrical window. Satyadev further alleged that Allu Arjun’s movie occupied all the screens. Due to this, his film Zebra has been releasing on OTT in just four weeks of theatrical release. The actor further shared his satisfaction with the timings of Zebra’s OTT release unlike his previous movie Krishnamma’s timings which was released on OTT in just a week.

At a recent event, Satyadev said “Our film got a two-week theatrical window. After that, Pushpa 2 released, leaving us with no theaters. Now, the film is releasing after four weeks on OTT. I’m happy with this timing, unlike my last film, Krishnamma, which was on OTT just one week after its theatrical release.”

“Our theatrical run ended in two weeks, and since there were no theaters left after Pushpa 2 released, there was no point in delaying the OTT release. So, it’s all good,” he added.

Notably, Zebra was released in theatres on November 22, 2024. The movie features Priya Bhavani Shankar, Satyadev Kancharana, Jeniffer Piccinato, Daali Dhananjay, Amrutha Iyengar and Sathyaraj in key roles. It has been directed by Eashvar Karthic. Zebra will be released on Aha on December 20, 2024.

The OTT platform shared the news on Instagram “When cunning meets chaos, the stakes get deadly. Watch #Zebra premieres 20th Dec only on aha! *48 hrs early access for aha gold users #aha #ZebraonAha #ZebraMovie.”
