Guddu Dhanoa, a veteran filmmaker, has confirmed that a sequel to Shah Rukh Khan's debut film Deewana is in the works. In an interview with News18 Showsha, Dhanoa revealed that the script for Deewana 2 is currently being developed, and the cast is yet to be locked.
Dhanoa, who produced Deewana, said, "Yes, Deewana 2 is very much happening. We're currently in the scripting stage. There's still some time before the film goes on floors as my web series will release before that." The filmmaker is currently gearing up for the release of his next directorial, Romeo S3, which hits theaters on May 16.
Guddu Dhanoa also spilled the beans on another sequel that he's working on - Bichhoo 2. "My film Bichhoo earned a lot of love. We're extremely keen on making Bichhoo 2, and the script for the same is also in the works," he said. Dhanoa praised Shah Rukh Khan, saying, "His evolution and growth as a star has been incredible. He's definitely a very good actor, but what's more noteworthy is that he's a lovely human being. And that, I believe, has helped him climb the ladder of success."
On the other hand, Romeo S3 marks Guddu Dhanoa's return to the Hindi film industry 18 years after Sunny Deol's Big Brother. The film Romeo S3 introduces South and Marathi actor Thakur Anoop Singh as a cop in the lead and also stars Palak Tiwari. Interestingly, this is the first film that Palak signed and shot for.

With Deewana 2 and Bichhoo 2 in the works, Guddu Dhanoa is gearing up for a busy year ahead. Fans of Shah Rukh Khan can look forward to seeing their favourite star's film get a sequel, while Bichhoo fans are eagerly awaiting the return of the beloved franchise. Romeo S3, on the other hand, promises to deliver action-packed entertainment with its new cast and crew.
