Shah Rukh Khan was honoured with the Pardo Alla Carriera Award at the Locarno Film Festival in Switzerland. The prestigious recognition was given to the superstar upon his contribution to Indian Cinema. Shah Rukh visited Switzerland and accepted this honour. He confirmed being part of Sujoy Ghosh’s upcoming film King and shared that he started working on the film. King Khan further revealed that he had to lose some weight for the movie. The superstar also called action ‘difficult’ and mentioned that he has some amazing body doubles, who do dangerous stunts. 

While attending the film festival, Shah Rukh said “Action is difficult, you have to practice it learn it and there are doubles doing some of the dangerous stunts. I have some wonderful guys. But 80% you have to finally do it yourself if you have to sell it truthfully. Otherwise, it doesn’t look right.” 

He added, “The next film I’m doing, King, I have to start working on my film King. Have to lose some weight a little, stretch a little so my groin doesn’t get caught while doing action. It is painful. It’s the worst thing to see me on sets after action because I look really cool in the film but I’m all tied up and suddenly you see people and send flying kisses.”

Shah Rukh was last seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki. The movie also starred Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Anil Grover, Vikram Kochhar, Satish Shah, Boman Irani and Vishnu Kaushal in key roles. The film was released in theatres on 21st December 2023. It is currently streaming on Netflix. 

On the other hand, talking about his upcoming movie King. As per reports, the movie will also feature his daughter Suhana Khan and will mark her theatrical debut. However, the makers have not made any official announcement about the movie yet.
