Shah Rukh Khan has been going through several medical issues this year. Earlier, during the time of IPL matches he suffered a heat stroke in Kolkata while watching his team Kolkata Knight Riders play. Now, as per the latest report, the actor has rushed to the US for sudden eye treatment. He earlier did his treatment in Mumbai but things didn’t go as planned. SRK had to rush to rectify the damage. However, no official statement has made on the same. 

A source told Bollywood Hungama, “Shah Rukh Khan (SRK) had gone to a hospital in Mumbai on Monday, July 29 for an eye treatment. The treatment didn’t go as planned. SRK is now being rushed to the USA to rectify the damage.” 

Another source told Zoom that the superstar had undergone cataract surgery. 

Earlier in an interview with Star Sports during the time of IPL, Shah Rukh said “I just felt ki main thoda rest kar sakta hoon. Teen film mein kar chuka hoon, it took a lot of physical work also. So I said maybe I’ll take some time off. I told the whole team ki, main matches ko aaunga. Fortunately, meri shooting ab August main hain, ya July… we plan in June, to June se shuru hojayegi. So, I am absolutely free to come to all the matches. Main khushi se aata hoon.”

Shah Rukh Khan will be next seen in Sujoy Ghosh’s King. The movie will also star Suhana Khan. It will be her theatrical debut. As per reports, the shooting of the mega film has already started in May 2024. The superstar was last seen in Atlee Kumar’s Jawan. The movie also starred Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Ashlesha Thakur, Sanya Malhotra, Amritha Aiyer, Riddhi Dogra, Viraj Ghelani and Sunil Grover in pivotal roles. It is currently streaming on Netflix.
