Shah Rukh Khan once again set the internet ablaze after making a show-stopping appearance at the Joy Awards held in Riyadh. The global star grabbed headlines when his photo with Katy Perry and Millie Bobby Brown went viral, leaving fans thrilled by the unexpected crossover. Another video of SRK is also going viral on the internet, where he can be seen snatching a fan's phone who was trying to click a picture with him. As the video gained attention online, while some fans were quick to question the actor's behaviour, others did not shy away from defending him.

Shah Rukh Khan bagged the Best Actor award for his superhit film Jawan at the Joy Awards. A video from the event emerged on the internet where he can be seen smiling as he took away his fan's phone and gestured to him to look at the camera person. The actor gave him his phone back and handed him the trophy he won and posed for a picture. The caption of the video read, "A video from the Joy Awards in Saudi is making rounds online, where a fan tried to take a selfie with Shah Rukh Khan, and SRK gently took the phone away. While some people are calling it arrogance, others feel moments like these are often misunderstood. In crowded, high-security events, even small interactions can look different from what they really are. As always, opinions are divided—what do you think?"

As the video gained traction, his fans quickly jumped to Shah Rukh Khan's defence. One of the users commented, "He is clearly telling ki "saamne se photo lo" so that the picture will be clearer." Another user commented, "Are they stupid? He's telling them someone else will take the picture, that way the prize can be seen too... They're not smart enough to see something so obvious."
