Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara starrer 'Jawan' is directed by Atlee Kumar and is set to be one of the most anticipated films of 2023. The film was initially scheduled to release on June 2 but has been in constant news for its delays due to the post-production of the film. Now, the film will be released around August 25, 2023.
Due to the sudden shifts of the release date of 'Jawan', the entire Hindi film calendar is also adjusting their schedules where more than half a dozen film's release dates are getting re-adjusted to avoid a clash at the box office.

Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan's romantic comedy directed by Laxman Uttekar is tentatively titled, 'Luka Chuppi 2' and will now be releasing on June 2, the date 'Jawan' was previously scheduled to release on.
Next, Ajay Devgn's sports drama 'Maidaan' which was initially set to be released on June 23, will now be released on the 7th or 8th of September, a couple of weeks after the release of Atlee's directorial.
One of the most anticipated sequels of Ayushmann Khurrana, 'Dream Girl 2' also has two dates in order, where the film was postponed from July 7 to August 25, and with 'Jawan' the makers of the film are set to hunt for a new release date.
Vicky Kaushal, Tripti Dimri, and Ammy Virk's film which is tentatively titled, 'Raula' and is produced by Dharma Productions, had their eyes fixed on August 25, however with 'Jawan' taking over the date, the makers are also searching for a new date.
Next in line is Akshay Kumar, Radhika Madan, and Paresh Rawal's film, 'Start Up' which announced a September release this year will now be hunting a new date with getting breathing space as the film is sandwiched between 'Maidaan' and 'Jawan.'

'Fukrey 3' is also making its return when the makers of the film announced the official release date as September 7, however, the film also may undergo some changes in its release date, because of being made under a small banner.
There are other films in line as well including, Prabhas-Kriti Sanon led 'Adipurush', 'Kartik Aryan-Kiara Advani led 'Satyaprem Ki Katha, 'Ranveer Singh-Alia Bhatt led 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani', 'Prabhas-Shruti Haasan led 'Salaar', Vijay Thalapathy's 'Leo', Shah Rukh Khan's 'Dunki', Ranbir Kapoor's 'Animal', and Sunny Deol's 'Gadar 2.'
