Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon visited New Delhi for the promotion of their upcoming film, 'Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya,' where they discussed the exploration of an 'impossible love story' set in the uncharted realms of artificial intelligence (AI). When questioned about the rise in deepfake videos, Shahid attributed the misuse of AI to human beings, stating, 'There's a distinction between man-made and God created.'

Shahid Kapoor told India Today, ''Human beings are themselves the problem. They have done this to the world. We are pushing the blame on AI. We are used to not living in reality. We keep projecting something else on social media that is not a reality and keep comparing reality with what we see on social media and then leads one into depression. That is the truth... we are looking for an alternate reality. That is what AI is and it is something as fundamental as a relationship. There is a difference between man-made and God created. This is there in this film (Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya), shown in a subtle way.''
Adding to this, Kriti Sanon said, ''It is concerning and there are several morphed ones that came out. But there are also AI-generated news anchors which means that we are moving forward really fast. So, an AI partner is possible in coming years.''
About 'Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya'
In 'Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya,' Shahid Kapoor portrays a scientist who develops feelings for Kriti Sanon's character, Sifra, a highly intelligent female robot. The film is written and directed by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah, with production by Dinesh Vijan, Jyoti Deshpande, and Laxman Utekar. The film also features the legendary actor Dharmendra.
During the trailer launch, Shahid conveyed his enthusiasm for the film, expressing how love stories pose both challenges and fulfillments. He acknowledged the difficulty of discovering scripts that bring something fresh to the audience in the realm of romantic comedies. Despite these challenges, the actor is excited to deliver a lighthearted and enjoyable experience to the audience with 'Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya.'
