Shalini Passi, the internet sensation, who appeared in Netflix’s 'Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives Season 3', talked about her closeness to Bollywood power couple, Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan in the show, sparking intrigue in fans. Now in the latest interview, she has revealed how her husband Sanjay Passi grew up with the star couple during his days of school and college and how Gauri gave her a lot of strength during her marriage at a young age.
Shalini Passi shed more light on the bond with SRK and Gauri Khan. In a conversation with Barkha Dutt on Mojo Story, she said, “Sanjay grew up with them and he is extremely good with relationships, whereas I am sort of floating. I am very moody. He is great at keeping in touch with people, whereas I am not. I am there for you 100%, but also moody about it.”
Shalini revealed how Shah Rukh and Gauri even while staying in Mumbai are still in touch with their friends in Delhi. She stated, “They are very solid people from Delhi, who have made it big in Bombay. But, they have stayed in touch with all their friends which is quite incredible. Gauri has given strength to me. I got married when I was very young and she is someone who always spoke her mind. This was a big thing for me. I know she is coming from good place, I knew I could trust them. What they give me, I knew was 100% genuine."
This is not the first time Shalini heaped praise on her close friend Gauri, earlier in a statement to India Today, she called Gauri a "solid person".
“Gauri, being from Delhi and with her father being in the army, has this amazing quality of remaining grounded. It’s rare to maintain that in our industry. Gauri is a very solid person, whether it comes to her family or her friends. When she visits Delhi, she always makes it a point to meet her school and college friends and spend time with them. It’s truly a pleasure to know her and the entire family," Shalini stated.
