Renowned singers Anup Jalota, Shankar Mahadevan and Hariharan are set to embark on a multi-city concert tour, showcasing their exceptional musical talents. However, a proposal to include Bollywood actresses Nora Fatehi and Tamannaah Bhatia as guest performers was met with resistance from the singers. According to sources, the event's organiser, Manish Harishankar from MH Films, had suggested incorporating the actresses into the concert series, titled Triveni.

Nevertheless, the singers politely declined the idea, citing their desire to maintain the concert's artistic integrity and focus on the richness of Indian music. As reported by Hindustan Times, the singers expressed their concern that featuring Bollywood stars would divert attention away from the concert's core objective, which is to celebrate the diversity and depth of Indian music.

According to HT, a source said, “When organiser Manish Harishankar from MH Films proposed including Bollywood actors such as Nora Fatehi and Tamannaah Bhatia as guest performers, the trio firmly declined. In a discussion with Shankar and Hariharan, the singers emphasised that the essence of Triveni lies in its dedication to presenting the depth and grandeur of Indian music. They added that the addition of a Bollywood guest would detract from the concert’s artistic vision.”

“Shankar, Hariharan and Anup shared that if there were to be a guest appearance, it should be by a fellow singer who aligns with the spirit of the event, rather than an actor. They intended to ensure that the focus remains on music,” the source further added.

On the professional front, Tamannaah Bhatia stars in the action-packed heist thriller Sikandar Ka Muqaddar, alongside Avinash Tiwary and Jimmy Shergill. Meanwhile, Nora Fatehi recently appeared in Madgaon Express and made her Telugu debut with Matka. She also has Dancing Dad lined up for future release.
