The romantic comedy-drama movie Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara starring Hrithik Roshan, Katrina Kaif, Farhan Akhtar and Abhay Deol has created a special place in the Indian cinema with its refreshing storyline line and chartbuster songs. It captivated and won the hearts of movie lovers so much that it was re-released in the theatres in June. Since then, the demand for a sequel is creating buzz on social media. Interestingly, actor Kalki Koechlin teased ZNMD fans by reacting to the possibility of the film's part 2.
Kalki Koechlin Reacts To Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara Sequel
Kalki in a conversation with Entertainment Times commented on the rumours of a sequel. She said, “Now the one thing everyone has been asking me is when’s the sequel coming? I have no answer to this question. I feel excited that the movie has been relived and rewatched after so many years in theatres.”
Directed by Zoya Akhtar, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara was released in 2011. The story revolves around three friends- Arjun, Kabir and Imran, played by actors Hrithik Roshan, Abhay Deol and Farhan Akhtar. The trio decided to go on a road trip to Spain for three long weeks. During their adventurous journey, they indulge in daring activities like skydiving, scuba diving, etc.
Kalki, who played the role of Abhay Deol's fiance Natasha, remembered the days of shooting and experience with her co-stars. She stated, “It was my first big Bollywood film. Of course, I did have a good start with Dev D, but it was still an off-beat kind of film. I got along well with Hrithik Roshan while shooting ZNMD. We share our birthday. We bonded over similar things. I shared with him how I struggle with dancing, and he spoke to me about his struggle with speech."

Kalki during the same interview revealed that she doesn’t like watching her own movies again but with ZNMD it was something different. She has seen the film thrice. The actress added, “Even Guy (husband, Guy Hershberg) enjoyed the movie. He found my character funny because it is very different from what he sees of me in real life. I think Sappho has danced on the film’s track Sooraj Ki Baahon Mein in her school."

Kalki Koechlin made her debut with Anurag Kashyap's film DevD and after that, she appeared in several films including Gully Boy, Waiting, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, among others.
