Shark Tank India 3: Numerous ambitious startup entrepreneurs aspire to pitch their business ideas on Shark Tank India, hoping to secure a life-changing deal. Shark Tank India serves as a platform for budding entrepreneurs to showcase their innovative business concepts and vie for the attention of prominent figures in the Indian entrepreneurial landscape. In a recent episode, Anupam Mittal mocked his fellow shark, Aman Gupta. The banter ensued after pitchers Hitarth Parikh, Chahil Patel, and Harsheet Maliwal presented their sports analytics products to the sharks, offering 1 per cent equity for Rs 10 lakh.
Impressed by the pitch and product, Aman Gupta made a matching offer, while Vineeta Singh proposed Rs 50 lakh for 5 per cent equity. In contrast, Namita Thapar doubled the valuation, offering Rs 20 lakh for 1 per cent. Anupam Mittal then surprised everyone with a bold offer of Rs 1 crore for 5 per cent equity. In response, Aman Gupta revised his offer to Rs 25 lakh for 1 per cent. Throughout the negotiations, Namita emphasised her role in doubling the company's valuation.
Following deliberation, the pitchers ultimately opted for Aman Gupta's offer over those of the other sharks. This decision left Namita disappointed, prompting her to remark, "I doubled your valuation and you chose him." Anupam Mittal also made a sarcastic comment directed at Aman Gupta, stating, "You had a decent deal on the table, but the sharks ended up shooting themselves in the foot. You were getting 1 crore, what are you settling for? He has never even set foot inside a gym (kya leke jaa rahe ho. Woh kabhi gym ke andar hi nahi gaya hai)." However, Aman responded with a light-hearted joke, saying, "I will go to the gym from tomorrow."
