Srikanth Bolla has joined Shark Tank India's esteemed panel as a new judge for the show, which is currently in its fourth season. Srikanth Bolla is the chairman, co-founder, and CEO of Bollant Industries Private Limited. According to his website, he is a philanthropist and entrepreneur who is visually impaired. He shared a series of pictures on Instagram to announce his arrival on Shark Tank India. The caption read, "To survive a pool of sharks, you need to become one yourself. So yes, I got an opportunity to become a shark on Shark Tank India. Being on the set made me realize that dreams aren’t just for thinkers— they’re for the doers! It was a blast meeting all these accomplished entrepreneurs in the panel and the pitches made were very inspiring — smelled innovation in the air! (sic)."

Srikanth Bolla further added, "To be honest, entrepreneurship in India has taken a very heartwarming boost because of @sharktank.india People at the show seemed poised to solve some age-old problems and some modern issues in the society while being visionary(sic)."

Srikanth Bolla mentioned Shark Tank judges Anupam Mittal, Namita Thapar, Aman and even Chirag in his elaborate Instagram post and thanked them for their love, encouragement and appreciation. "Witnessing some great pitches, I’ll just say one thing to all my fellow citizens, don’t just think about your idea, act on it, or someone else will!(sic)." he concluded the note.

Who Is Visually Impaired Industrialist Srikanth Bolla?

Srikanth Bolla, who was born on July 7, 1991, in Seetharamapuram, Machilipatnam, Andhra Pradesh, comes from a Telugu family. Her parents were farmers by trade and had no formal schooling. Due to inadequate infrastructure, he also had difficulty receiving an education as a child who was visually challenged.

Srikant Bolla had a little chance of continuing his education, even after receiving a perfect score of 98% on his XII board exams. He filed a lawsuit, which he won after six months of continuous battle. He wanted to study engineering in college, but coaching centers would not let him in to prepare for IIT. At the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Bolla is notable for being the first student with vision impairments to enroll in the esteemed Sloan School of Management.

Srikanth Bolla excelled in athletics in addition to his academics. He represented India at the national level in blind cricket and international chess in addition to playing baseball and swimming. Srikanth Bolla and co-founder Ravi Mantha founded Bollant Industries in 2012. Supported by well-known businessman Ratan Tata, the company specialises in producing areca-based goods and provides jobs for people with impairments. 

Srikanth Bolla's Bollant Industries prioritises environmentally friendly production by turning soiled paper and municipal garbage into recycled Kraft paper. It also creates throwaway goods and packaging materials from recycled paper.

Bollant Industries, which makes an amazing $150 million a year, has employed over 500 people in the company. Despite being blind, he has made significant contributions as a philanthropist in addition to carving out a position for himself in the business sector.
