Tahira Kashyap Khurrana steps into the limelight with her feature directorial debut, 'Sharmajee Ki Beti,' a film that promises to tug at your heartstrings while tickling your funny bone. Known for her previous work on short films like 'Pinni' and 'Toffee,' Tahira brings her unique storytelling style to this heartwarming movie, which is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video India on June 28.

The trailer for 'Sharmajee Ki Beti' introduces us to three women, each grappling with her own set of challenges in the bustling city. Sakshi Tanwar, Divya Dutta and Saiyami Kher lead this ensemble cast, each portraying a character named Sharma, yet their conflicts couldn't be more different.

Sakshi Tanwar plays Jyoti Sharma, a middle-class doctor struggling to balance her personal and professional life. In one scene, she frantically tries to get her daughter ready for school, only for the little girl to lament that she looks like someone drove a "road roller" over her. This humorous yet poignant moment captures the daily chaos of Jyoti's life, highlighting the pressures faced by working mothers.

Divya Dutta takes on the role of Kiran Sharma, a homemaker who has recently moved from Patiala to the city. Kiran dreams of a peaceful life but soon realizes that the urban jungle is anything but serene. Her husband (Pravin Dabas) and even the local vegetable vendor seem to be constantly on the move, leaving Kiran to navigate this fast-paced world on her own.

Saiyami Kher portrays Tanvi Sharma, an aspiring cricketer who plays for the Mumbai women's cricket team. Despite her passion for the sport and admiration for Virat Kohli, Tanvi's boyfriend pressures her to quit her career. This storyline echoes Saiyami's real-life role as a cricketer in the critically acclaimed film 'Ghoomer.'
