Bollywood diva Sharvari Wagh, who is currently gearing up for her upcoming release Munjya, shared that her debut film Bunty Aur Babli 2 has opened up many doors of opportunities. The movie was the sequel to the 2005 hit movie Bunty Aur Babli which starred Rani Mukerji and Abhishek Bachchan in the lead. The movie's sequel featured Rani, Saif Ali Khan, and Siddhant Chaturvedi in key roles. The film didn’t do well in the box and received weak reviews. However, Sharvari felt that she had many films offers after Bunty Aur Babli 2.

In an interview with PTI, Sharvari told “That film opened so many doors for me. People in the industry didn’t know me before this. They didn’t know who Sharvari was. You cannot term anything as a failure if you’re getting work from that. I have been getting work from my first film. I will always be grateful to it, no matter what it did at the box office. I just want more work.”

She continued, “I don’t come from a film background. For me, the dream was to get my first film and it’s always like that. This (Munjya) is my second film. There’s always a dream for a third film and a fourth film. But to get that first film when you’re not from this industry means the world.”

Her upcoming movie Munjya is part of the horror comedy universe featuring movies like Stree and Bhedia. She added, “Being a part of the two biggest IPs in Bollywood, which is the horror comedy universe and the spy universe, is great for someone who is just one film old.”
