Kartik Aaryan’s latest release Shehzada, which was released on February 17, 2023, ended its week 2 on a disastrous note. The film is the official Hindi language remake of Allu Arjun’s Telugu blockbuster film Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, performed underwhelmingly at the box-office.

Apart from Kartik Aaryan, Shehzada starred Kriti Sanon, Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Ronit Roy, Sunny Hinduja and Sachin Khetekar in pivotal roles. The film has been directed by Rohit Dhawan. 

On Day 14, Shehzada minted just Rs 0.26 crore. Take a look at the day-wise breakup of Shehzada:

With this, Shehzada has been declared a flop at the box-office. The film comes after Kartik Aaryan’s back to back successful films at the box-office, including Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.

Shehzada was postponed by a week owing to the blockbuster success of Pathaan. The week was pushed by a week. Talking about the same, Kartik Aaryan revealed that it was the producers call.

“To release the film then didn’t seem correct to the producers so they took a call to just delay it by a week which didn’t seem difficult. We went ahead with it," the actor was quoted as saying during his interaction with RJ Siddharth Kanan.
