Star Plus serial Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata has been making headlines for quite some time now. Viewers were shocked at the re-entrance of Rohit Poddar in the show. In the serial, Rohit’s character has entered Ruhi’s life. Earlier, the role was played by Shivam Khajuria. The actor said that the makers had planned something better for him. He also said that he is going to miss his character.
In an interview with Times Now, Shivam said “Rajan Sir has planned something good for me. I am going to miss my character, Rohit. I just wish people would give the same amount of love to the new actor as they did to me. I will soon give you all good news.”
Earlier, there were rumours that Rajan Shahi is returning with a love story for the same channel Star Plus under his production house Directors' Kut Productions. It was also reported that it would feature some new faces. Apart from this, there were also reports that Shivam Khajuria also auditioned for the part.
As per the Times Of India reports, Romit Raaj has replaced Shivam Khajuria in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata. Romit is known for his work in Adaalat, Hum Dum,Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi...Let's Go, Shaka Laka Boom Boom, Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyann, Kulfi Kumar Bajewala, Hatim, Partners Trouble Ho Gayi Double, Yashomati Maiyaa Ke Nandlala, Ssshhhh...Koi Hai and Thoda Hai Bas Thode Ki Zaroorat Hai to name a few.
On the other hand, Shivam Khajuria is known for his work in Television shows like Mann Sundar and Mann Sundar.
Currently, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is focusing on the love track of Armaan and Abhira. Where they can be finally seen confessing love for each other. Kaveri will have a heart attack in the show and every family member will be blaming them for the same.
