Shreyas Talpade Investment Fraud Case: Bollywood actor Shreyas Talpade is facing fresh legal trouble after being named in a First Information Report (FIR) in Mainpuri, Uttar Pradesh. The case, registered by the Bhogaon police, involves an alleged high-return investment scam that has reportedly cheated local residents out of lakhs of rupees.

The police launched the formal probe following a direct order from the court. In total, 12 individuals have been booked in connection with the scheme, which allegedly operated under the guise of a Mumbai-based bank branch. The complaint was filed by a resident of the Mohalla Mishrana locality in Bhogaon.

According to the allegations, the Golmaal actor and his associates claimed to represent a reputable Mumbai-based financial institution. They reportedly persuaded villagers and townspeople to invest significant sums of money, promising substantial financial returns that far exceeded standard market rates. However, once the money was handed over, the promised profits never materialised. Investors soon realised that their funds had been misappropriated.
