Sidharth Malhotra is stepping into the world of folk thrillers with his latest film, Vvan - Force Of The Forrest. Collaborating with Ektaa Kapoor's Balaji Motion Pictures and Arunabh Kumar's TVF Motion Pictures, the movie promises to offer an intriguing narrative rooted in rural folklore. Directed by Panchayat fame Deepak Kumar Mishra, Vvan is set for a grand release during Chhath Puja in 2025.
On November 7, Sidharth shared a motion poster of the film to announce the title, saying, “Excited to be part of this folk thriller, with a powerhouse team. Can’t wait for you all to experience VVAN - Force of the Forrest on the big screen in 2025.” The title reveal on Chhath Puja added a festive touch to the announcement, sparking excitement among fans.

According to a report by India Today, Sara Ali Khan will co-star with Sidharth in this upcoming thriller. The report reveals that the film will be set against a folklore-rich rural backdrop, weaving in elements of Hindu mythology. Production is expected to kick off in the latter half of 2025 after Sidharth's final narration later this month.
The makers are aiming to create a visually captivating and emotionally intense story that explores traditional folklore. Drawing comparisons to the successful Kannada film Kantara, Vvan - Force Of The Forrest aspires to bring audiences a similarly immersive experience, highlighting India's rich cultural heritage through a gripping narrative. Sidharth Malhotra’s last film, Yodha, released earlier this year, marked another action-packed venture for the actor. With Vvan - Force Of The Forrest, Sidharth is set to take on a new genre, making this project an exciting addition to his filmography.
