Sidharth Malhotra is all set to bring his charm back to the romantic genre, this time alongside Janhvi Kapoor in the upcoming film Param Sundari, directed by Tushar Jalota of Dasvi fame. The project has fans buzzing, and Sidharth recently shared his excitement about his first collaboration with Janhvi and his return to romance on-screen.
In a recent interview with The Times of India, Sidharth opened up about the film, stating, “This Diwali felt like a fresh start as I begin my new project. It’s exciting to step back into the romantic genre after a few years, and I’m looking forward to creating something fun and memorable with Janhvi. It’s a new chapter that feels just right for the season of new beginnings.”

Interestingly, reports indicate that Param Sundari was initially meant to be a thriller, but the team ultimately shifted to a romantic-comedy angle. The movie will feature Sidharth as a wealthy business tycoon from Delhi, while Janhvi will portray a modern artist from Kerala, bringing the classic tale of opposites attracting. According to a source, their characters’ contrasting personalities add depth to the story as the two slowly fall in love.
The film is set to begin production in December, with the first schedule taking place in Delhi, followed by a shoot in Kerala. The remainder of the scenes will be filmed on specially designed sets in Mumbai.
Alongside Param Sundari, Sidharth is also gearing up for Race 4 with Saif Ali Khan. Janhvi, on the other hand, has her hands full with Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, directed by Shashank Khaitan, where she will share the screen with Varun Dhawan, Rohit Saraf, Sanya Malhotra, Maniesh Paul and Akshay Oberoi.
