Sidhu Moose Wala was a sensational singer and rapper from the Punjab music industry, who went on to gain international recognition for his songs. The latter was murdered in broad daylight on May 29, a year ago.

In tribute to the singer-rapper, the nagar panchayat of Jawaharke village in Mansa district organized 'paath' in remembrance of the late Punjabi singer at the same location where he was shot dead, a day before his death anniversary.

Sidhu Moose Wala's mother Charan Kaur marked her attendance at the event which was organized by the villagers. A large number of people reached his house today where his mother also addressed the media.

According to a report in Tribune India, she said, "Till the killers and conspirators of Sidhu Moose Wala's murder get punishment, our fight for justice will continue. His murder is part of a big conspiracy. So, it's important to expose the faces of all conspirators."

A blood donation camp is also to be held by the Musa village followed by a candlelight march to be held in Mansa on Sidhu Moose Wala's first 'barsi' on May 29, where a large number of fans of the singer are expected to show up.

Sidhu Moose Wala's father will not be able to be a part of the event as he has already gone to the United Kingdom as the work preparations for the singer's 3D hologram for the world tour is on the move.

Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead at Jawaharke village of Mansa district on May 29, 2022. The singer was driving his SUV when six assassins sprayed him with tons of bullets. The singer died on the spot.

However, a dozen people have been arrested in the investigation which was carried out jointly by the Delhi and Punjab police, where the singer lived and passed away.

Who was Sidhu Moose Wala?

Sidhu Moose Wala's original name was Subhdeep Singh Sidhu from Moosa village in Mansa district. He started his musical journey in Canada in 2016 and since then has released three albums and more than 60 singles becoming a popular name in the music industry.

However, he was also a controversial figure because the singer has an affinity for guns which he would showcase in his music videos and also on his social media profiles. The singer also had police cases against him for promoting gun violence in Punjab where the singer was never convicted for any of his crimes but was called out for 'normalizing violence.'
