Earlier, Rohit Shetty posted behind-the-scenes photos and a video, marking the 13-year milestone of the Singham franchise, which started in 2011. About Singham Series
Rohit Shetty, who has helmed all previous entries in the Singham series, including Singham and Singham Returns, has played a pivotal role in developing his expansive Cop Universe. This universe also includes Akshay Kumar’s character in Sooryavanshi and Ranveer Singh’s role in Simmba.
In the upcoming Singham Again, Ajay Devgn returns as the central character, supported by a stellar cast that includes Kareena Kapoor Khan, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, and Deepika Padukone. While the film was initially scheduled for release on Independence Day, it has been postponed to Diwali, as announced by the filmmakers on social media.
The collaboration between Shetty and Devgn began in the 1990s when Shetty served as an assistant director on Devgn's debut film, Phool Aur Kaante. Their partnership has flourished with numerous successful films, including Suhaag, Haqeeqat, Zulmi, Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha, and Hindustan Ki Kasam. Shetty's directorial debut, Zameen (2003), also featured Devgn. Their ongoing collaboration, especially in the action and comedy genres with the Golmaal and Singham franchises, has established them as one of Bollywood's most iconic director-actor duos.
