'Stree 2' has officially become one of the most successful movies of 2024 and has been receiving an amazing response from the audience. The film's massive success has led to the start of a credit war on social media among Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao's fans. Director Amar Kaushik has reacted to this fan war for the first time and revealed if it has impacted the bond between film's the cast and crew.

While speaking to India Today, Amar Kaushik said, "Honestly, fans of stars usually have this fight on social media where they claim their favourite actor should get all the credit for the movie. It is okay. It is really to each their own. Fans getting into a social media war over credits is common. Also, when a film does well, people around [the stars] feed such things in the minds of everyone, including the cast, that they should get credit for the movie.”

“I just went for a vacation to stay away from the noise because it is usually when you hit a certain mark is when it becomes easier to get trapped in such social media games,” he added.

In an earlier interview with Bollywood Hungama, Rajkummar Rao revealed which film from the horror universe will release next. He revealed he is not completely aware of the release schedule but the audience can expect to see 'Bhediya 2' soon on the big screen. For the unversed, the makers had earlier announced that 'Bhediya 2' will release in 2025.

While speaking about 'Stree 2', the actor added, "Banegi, for sure banegi and koshish karenge part 1 and 2 se bhi behtar bane (It will definitely be made and we will try to make it better than Stree part 1 and 2)."

The movie also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana in pivotal roles. Akshay Kumar made a surprising cameo in 'Stree 2' and will be seen in pivotal roles in the upcoming franchises. Tamannaah Bhatia also had a cameo role in a dance number, whereas, Varun Dhawan reprised his role from 'Bhediya' in his special appearance.
