Abhishek Banerjee is currently basking in the success of his movie 'Stree 2' in which he played the role of Jana. The actor received a lot of appreciation for his performance as he was one of the most pivotal characters in the movie. Amid all the praise received by 'Stree 2', netizens criticised the makers for the similarities between its poster and Netflix's show 'Stranger Things'. In a recent interview, Abhishek reacted to this similarity and said that he has no idea about how the marketing team is involved.

While speaking to Bollywood Hungama, Abhishek said, "Pata nahi, I have no idea. Yeh marketing aur poster woh log kis tarah se sochte hain humein kya pata. Hum toh actor hain. Hamara toh kaam hai poster pe aana, banana thodi hai (Who knows what happened. I have no idea how the marketing team involved with poster design came up with these ideas. My job is to appear on those posters, not to make them)."

'Stree 2' has become one of the most successful Hindi movies of 2024. In an interview with the Lallantop, Shraddha revealed that she gets scared by her own character in 'Stree 2'. She said, "In my recently released movie when something happens to my character's face, I get terrified. I would watch myself on the big screen with ear and face half covered."

She added, "I do not watch horror films but do horror comedies like Stree 2. If I ever get a really good script I would love to be a part of that film."

Akshay Kumar made a surprising came in 'Stree 2' and will be seen in pivotal roles in the upcoming franchises. Tamannaah Bhatia and Varun Dhawan also had cameo roles. Starring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead roles, Pankaj Tripathi and Aparshakti Khurana were seen in pivotal roles.
