Sky Force Box Office Collection Day 1: Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya starrer action drama film opened at the ticket windows on a strong note. The film was released in theatres on January 24 and received mixed responses from the audience and the critics. After back-to-back flops in the past few years, Akshay Kumar might see success with Sky Force as it had a strong opening. However, the following days will decide the actual its box office fate.

As per Sacnilk, the movie earned Rs 11. 25 crore on opening day. The film had 20.93 per cent Hindi occupancy in theatres. Sky Force had 10.26 per cent occupancy in the morning shows, 14.12 per cent in the afternoon shows, 22.76 per cent in the evening shows and 36.58 per cent in the night shows.

As per reports, the movie was made on a budget of around Rs 160 crore.
About Sky Force
The story is a gripping tale which is inspired by true events from one of the deadliest air strikes that have ever occurred between India and Pakistan in the year 1965. The movie features Akshay Kumar, Veer Pahariya, Sara Ali Khan, Nimrat Kaur, Bogumila Bubiak, Irina Svecova and Emilija Senavaityte in key roles. It has been directed by Abhishek Anil Kapur and Sandeep Kewlani. The film has been produced by Amar Kaushik, Jyoti Deshpande and Dinesh Vijan. Veer Pahariya made his acting debut with the movie.
While sharing some glimpses of the movie, the makers wrote on Instagram “This New Year, soar into the skies with #SkyForce – the untold story of India’s first and deadliest airstrike ever. Trailer out tomorrow. In cinemas on 24th January 2025.”
