Sobhita Dhulipala made her first public appearance in Mumbai post-engagement with Naga Chaitanya earlier this month. The actress was clicked outside a production office in the city. She was seen blushing when the paparazzi asked ‘Party kab hai’. Later, Dhulipala smiled and said, ‘Jaldi’. The actress then entered the office with a smile. She was donning a denim outfit with light makeup. Sobhita was seen in open curly to complete her entire look.

Earlier on 8th August, Naga Chaitanya’s father Nagarjuna shared the news of their engagement on his X account. He wrote, “We are delighted to announce the engagement of our son, Naga Chaitanya, to Sobhita Dhulipala, which took place this morning at 9:42 a.m.!! We are overjoyed to welcome her into our family. Congratulations to the happy couple! Wishing them a lifetime of love and happiness. God bless!" 8.8.8 A beginning of infinite love Sobhitad chayakkineni.”

Later the couple shared a series of romantic pictures from their engagement. They wrote, “What could my mother be to yours? What kin is my father to yours anyway? And how did you and I meet ever? Their relationship rumours started in 2023 when they first together in Hyderabad. The speculations fumed more when their pictures from London vacation went viral in earlier this year. Sobhita and Chaitanya faced severe backlash online after they chose to engaged on 8th August. As per reports, they were trolled because Chaitanya was proposed by his ex-wife Samantha Ruth Prabhu years back on the same date. 

Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya tied knot in 2017 after several years of dating each other. However, they announced the news of their separation in 2021 due to some unknown reasons.
