Sobhita Dhulipala has been making headlines ever since she got engaged with Naga Chaitanya. The actress exchanged rings with the Telugu star on August 8, 2024. Recently, the Made in Heaven actress spilled the beans about how she wants her marriage to be organised. She said that she want a proper Telugu wedding as she is connected to her roots. Not only that, Sobhita said that she didn’t have a lot of expectations or dreams. She also shared that it was a quiet, relaxed, simple, sweet and warm engagement ceremony.  

In an interview with Galatta India, Sobhita Dhulipala opened up about her feelings on the engagement day. The actress said, “I don’t think I went into the moment with a lot of expectations or dreams. No, I think I was there, it was quite relaxed, simple, sweet, intimate, and warm. It was everything I thought that it would be.” 

She also talked about her perception of an ideal marriage. She said, “I always wanted ‘Teluguness’ to be a part of moments like this (wedding) because I am very attached to my roots, very close to my parents so the whole tradition aspect of it is what I did fantasize.” 

The news of Sobhita Dhulipala and Naga Chaitanya’s engagement was announced by Nagarjuna Akkineni. He wrote on X, “We are delighted to announce the engagement of our son, Naga Chaitanya, to Sobhita Dhulipala, which took place this morning at 9:42 a.m.!! We are overjoyed to welcome her into our family. Congratulations to the happy couple! Wishing them a lifetime of love and happiness. God bless! 8.8.8 A beginning of infinite love Sobhitad chayakkineni.”

Naga Chaitanya was earlier married to Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The couple was married for 4 years before parting ways in 2021. They shared the news on Instagram and since then they maintained a dignified silence on their current bond with each other.
