Soha Ali Khan is among those actors who often face online criticism for her interfaith marriage with Kunal Kemmu. As a Muslim, she frequently gets questioned about her religion and faith whenever she posts something on social media. Reacting to the online trolling, Soha revealed that it doesn't bother her but one thing always amuses her. Read on to find out what it is.
Soha Ali Khan is currently garnering praise for her performance in Chhorii 2. In a recent interview with SCREEN, she opened up about dealing with trolls questioning her religion and marriage. The actress said, “I have gotten a bit thick-skinned; it doesn’t bother me. But one thing that amuses me is how, when I post something, people start commenting upon my religion. Because I have married into a Hindu family, my mother has a Hindu surname, and she married a Muslim person (Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi).”
Highling what comments she receives, Soha added, "Usually, if we post something on Diwali, they are like, ‘How many rozas have you kept?’ If we post on Holi, there are comments reading, ‘What kind of Muslim you are?’ It doesn’t bother me, but it is something that I do notice."

She attributed the culture of criticism to a societal conditioning that feeds on negativity, noting that people often find joy in gossiping about others.
After working together on the film Dhoondte Reh Jaoge, Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Kemmu started dating in 2009. After six years of dating, the couple tied the knot on January 25, 2015, in an intimate wedding ceremony in the presence of their family and friends.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Soha donned a never-before-seen avatar of a ghost Daasi Maa in the Chhorii 2. Directed by Vishal Furia, the movie is a sequel to the 2021 movie and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Vikram Malhotra, and Jack Davis. The sequel starred Nushrratt Bharuccha reprising her role alongside Gashmeer Mahajani, and Saurabh Goyal in key roles. The storyline has captivated the viewers by giving spine chilling experience and thrills.
