Sonakshi Sinha is celebrating the success of her recent web series, Heeramandi, which has been receiving rave reviews. Recently, Sonakshi shared a series of behind-the-scenes photos from the shooting of the song 'Tilasmi Bahein', highlighting the fact that the song was completed in a single take. She also revealed Sanjay Leela Bhansali's enthusiastic reaction to the achievement.

Taking to Instagram, Sonakshi posted several photos from the set, capturing the excitement of the day's shoot. She wrote, "Can’t get over that day!!! From on-the-spot rehearsal just minutes before the take to getting the perfect take for my first ONE SHOT song – Tilasmi Bahein… swipe right to see Sanjay sir's reaction, and what we did right after packup coz we couldn’t believe the song was done but we didn’t get enough… uff pure magic."

The post showcased Bhansali's delighted reaction, along with images of the cast and crew celebrating the successful one-take performance. The song, which has become an instant hit, was composed by Rochak Kohli with lyrics by Gurpreet Saini, and performed by Sonu Nigam and Nikita Gandhi, featuring Mellow D. Choreographer Vijay Ganguly retained the iconic hook step from the original, conceptualized by Ahmed Khan.

Sonakshi Sinha, who debuted in Bollywood with 'Dabangg' opposite Salman Khan in 2010, has come a long way in her career. She has worked alongside prominent actors like Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn in several films. Over the years, she has taken on more challenging roles in movies such as 'Lootera', 'Akira', 'Happy Phir Bhag Jayegi' and 'Khandaani Shafakhana'.

In a recent interview with PTI, Sonakshi discussed her decision to shift her career focus almost a decade ago. She aimed to choose roles that challenged her, leading to projects like "Dahaad" and now 'Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar'. In 'Dahaad', she played a no-nonsense small-town cop, and in 'Heeramandi', she portrays the vengeful Fareedan in a pre-Partition era drama about courtesans.

Heeramandi, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, was released on Netflix on May 1. The series features a star-studded cast including Manisha Koirala, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, Sharmin Sehgal, and Sanjeeda Sheikh, alongside Sonakshi. The series also stars Fardeen Khan, Taha Shah Badussha, Shekhar Suman and Adhyayan Suman in roles of the Nawabs.

Sonakshi shared that portraying the dual roles of mother-daughter Rehanna and Fareedan in the eight-part series was challenging but manageable thanks to Bhansali's faith in her abilities. Bhansali, who had earlier produced Sonakshi's 2012 film "Rowdy Rathore," once again demonstrated his trust in her talent.
