South Korean singer-actor Chung Lim passed away on July 19 at the age of 37. He was reportedly suffering from colon cancer and was away from the limelight for a while. He started his acting career in 2004 after starring in the K-drama 'I'm Sorry, I Love You'.

After finding success in 'I'm Sorry, I Love You', Chung Lim was seen in 'Dream' and also had a special appearance in 'Smile Mom'. He later started his journey as a singer and released his first album 'STEP' in 2009.

As per reports, he was working as a sales representative for a motorcycle company.

K-pop fans have been receiving shocking news of the demise of several South Korean artists. On July 6, South Korean singer Lee Sang Eun passed away at the age of 46. She was reportedly found dead in a bathroom minutes before her performance. According to South Korean media, the police didn’t suspect foul play.

The reports further suggest that an event staffer called the police after finding Lee Sang Eun's lifeless body at the women's washroom on the 3rd floor of the Culture and Art Centre in Samnak-dong Gimcheon-si at around 8:23 pm on July 6. She was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital by the emergency rescue team but had already passed away.

On June 21, singer Choi Sung Bong was found dead at his home in Seoul. The late singer posted a 'farewell' message on his YouTube channel on Tuesday which led police into believing that he died by suicide.

K-pop group ASTRO member Moonbin passed away on April 19. According to several South Korean outlets, the K-pop star was found dead in his apartment in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. The Seoul Gangnam Police Station reported that Moonbin was found dead at his residence at 8:10 pm on April 19 by his manager and the manager immediately called the police. According to the police, Moonbin passed away by suicide.
