Squid Game: The Challenge Season 2: ‘Squid Game: The Challenge’ is currently streaming on Netflix and it is a huge success. In its inaugural week, the show secured the top spot on Netflix's list of the most-watched English TV series. After the triumph of its initial season, the streaming giant has officially given the green light for the renewal of the series for a second season.
Squid Game: The Challenge Is Returning For Season 2
According to a report in Hindustan Times, Netflix VP of non-fiction series Brandon Riegg said, “There was no red light in our decision to greenlight season two of Squid Game: The Challenge, the most ambitious unscripted show we’ve premiered at Netflix.” “We’re so excited to continue the franchise of Squid Game with our team in Korea, and producers at Studio Lambert and The Garden for this epic competition series,” Riegg further added.
Netflix has additionally revealed an open casting call for Squid Game: The Challenge Season 2 through the dedicated casting website, Squid Game Casting.

The official synopsis for the show reads, “In this reality competition show inspired by ‘Squid Game’, 456 players put their skills to the ultimate test for a life-changing $4.56 million prize. Play the games Dec 6th. And now you have a chance to play. From 456 to three remaining players.”

'Squid Game: The Challenge' is a reality competition TV show, drawing its inspiration from the popular South Korean drama, 'Squid Game'. This 10-episode series marks a collaborative effort between two independent television production firms, Studio Lambert and The Garden, where Studio Lambert takes the lead in overseeing the physical production aspects of the show.
