Sreeleela left fans going gaga with her electrifying dance moves in Kissik, a track from the highly-anticipated Pushpa 2: The Rule. Since then, she has been in the headlines, not for her performance but reportedly being paid less as compared to what Samantha Ruth Prabhu received for Pushpa: The Rise song Oo Antava.
Sreeleela Paid Less For Pushpa 2 Song Than Samantha?
Sreeleela addressed speculation about her remuneration for the song during a press event for her upcoming film Robinhood, she said, “We haven’t even discussed the remuneration with the producers yet."
After the song was released, reports started circulating that she was paid Rs 2 crore for the dance number, compared to Samantha, who reportedly received Rs 5 crore for Pushpa: The Rise hit song Oo Antava. Sreeleela in humour refuted all the rumours.
Sreeleela also talked about her decision to do this number, she stated "The song itself will justify my choice. It’s not your typical item song. There’s a strong narrative reason behind it, which will become clear when the movie releases."
Sreeleela's song garnered mixed reactions from fans and critics. While some fans continue to draw comparisons to Samantha's Oo Antava, others praise Kissik for its different energy and interesting choreography.
