He mentioned that the writing phase is complete, and the film is currently in the pre-production stage. Speaking at the screening in Japan, Rajamouli said, "We finished writing our next film. We're in the pre-production process for the film. But, we haven't finshed the casting yet. Only the main hero, the protagonist of the film, is locked. His name is Mahesh Babu. He's a very good actor and looks like you already know him. He's very handsome."

Following the remarkable success of 'RRR', SS Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu have unveiled their plans for a high-budget film that will be produced in multiple languages. SSMB 29 has already created a significant buzz, with reports suggesting that it will be India's own version of Indiana Jones. The character's journey is anticipated to parallel the narrative of the Ramayana, albeit with Rajamouli's distinct creative flair.
