When will Stranger Things 5 premiere online?

At the SCAD TVfest panel in Atlanta, Matt Duffer revealed that Stranger Things Season 5 will indeed premiere this year, but cautioned that the release is still a ways off, stating "We are still a long way" from the final rollout.Matt Duffer said, “I mean we will see. I will say, it is coming this year. We are definitely coming out this year. We are still a long way, I don’t know why people are applauding. I feel like they are like ‘You made it in three years.’ But yeah, thank you.”

Based on the Duffer Brothers' comments, it appears that Stranger Things Season 5 is likely to arrive in late 2025, which aligns with recent reports and rumors surrounding the show's release timeline.

According to Deadline, while talking about S5, Matt Duffer had said, “We think it's our most personal story. It was super intense and emotional to film--for us and for our actors. We've been making this show together for almost 10 years. There was a lot of crying. There was SO much crying. The show means so much to all of us, and everyone put their hearts and souls into it. And we hope--and believe--that passion will translate to the screen.”
