Stree 2: The makers of the much-anticipated film have released a new song titled Khoobsurat on Friday, August 9. This marks the third song from the film and adds a fresh twist to the storyline by introducing Varun Dhawan's character from Bhediya into the Stree universe. The track highlights the strong chemistry between Shraddha Kapoor and Varun Dhawan, which is sure to captivate the audience.

In the song, Shraddha Kapoor reprises her role as the ethereal Stree, looking stunning in a red saree paired with her signature nose pin, adding a traditional charm to her look. Varun Dhawan and Rajkummar Rao, both vying for her attention, create a playful yet intense dynamic that adds to the romantic tension of the song. Abhishek Banerjee also makes an appearance, providing comic relief that perfectly complements the flirtatious tone of the track.

The song Khoobsurat is a romantic melody that celebrates Shraddha's beauty, with lyrics penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya. The catchy hook, "Koi itna khoobsurat kaise ho sakta hai [How can someone be this beautiful?]," is bound to resonate with listeners, making it an instant favourite. The song is sung by Vishal Mishra and Sachin-Jigar, who also composed the music, ensuring it stays true to the film's tone.

Adding to the fun, Kriti Sanon, who played the female lead in Bhediya, shared her playful jealousy in the comments section, writing, "Dhokebaazzzz!!! Stree no.2 in ur life haan!" This light-hearted interaction further fuels the excitement for the crossover between the two films in Dinesh Vijan's horror-comedy universe.

Stree 2 is set to be released on August 15, just in time for Independence Day. The film will see Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao and Abhishek Banerjee reprising their roles from the original Stree (2018), with the addition of Pankaj Tripathi and Aparshakti Khuranna in pivotal roles.
