Stree 3 To Release Soon After Part 2? Here's What Producer Dinesh Vijan Revealed At Trailer Launch

'Stree' is one of the most loved horror comedy movies in Bollywood and has received a lot of love from the audience. Fans are excited to watch 'Stree 2' on the big screen and the makers have finally unveiled its exciting trailer. The movie stars Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana in the lead roles. At the trailer launch event of 'Stree 2', producer Dinesh Vijan talked about the possible sequel of the movie.

At the trailer launch, Dinesh Vijan revealed that they have already started working on 'Stree 3' and the audience will not have to wait for a long time like 'Stree 2'.

It has been reported that Varun Dhawan will make a special appearance in 'Stree 2' and will have an important role in the film. “In Bhediya, the characters of Stree enter towards the very end and had nothing to do with the main conflict in the narrative. But in Stree’s sequel, Varun Dhawan will have a crucial role to play. It will be a special appearance but it’ll be something that will add to the fun and madness in Stree 2,” a source was quoted as saying by Bollywood Hungama.

For the unversed, 'Stree', 'Stree 2', 'Munjya' and 'Bhediya' are part of the same horror universe. Varun Dhawan and Abhishek Banerjee also had cameo roles in 'Munjya', in which they reprised their role from the movie 'Bhediya'.

In an interview with Hindustan Times, Aparshakti Khurrana talked about the box office clash between 'Stree 2', 'Vedaa' and 'Khel Khel Mein'. He said, "It is a long weekend with Independence Day and Rakhi all coming together. People are in for a treat. It’s nice people will have choices. We are in a space right now where we have to root for each other. The current climate of the fraternity is such that I don’t think people will be looking down upon each other or trying to pull each other down. Everybody will only be hoping that all three films work. That is eventually how you grow together as an industry.”

'Stree 2' will hit the theatres on August 15, 2024.
